Jean Petsch: Paintings and DrawingsSept 3 - Oct 17Center for Faith and Life This exhibit contains seventeen large, colorful works by Cedar Falls artist Jean Petsch. Petsch is an assistant professor of art at the University of Northern Iowa, where she teaches and coordinates the art education program. Her work has been featured at exhibitions throughout Iowa, Florida, South Carolina and California. In 2000 she visited Russia where she worked to establish the Summer Institute for Humanities and Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. Petsch earned the bachelor of arts degree in graphic design from Iowa State University and master of arts in painting from the University of Northern Iowa, and a master of arts in art education from the University of South Carolina.
