"Bee-Leafs"

Elizabeth Papenfuss earned her bachelor of arts degree from Luther College in 1993 and her master of fine arts degree from Idaho State
University (Pocatello) in 1995. She has taught art at the University of Minnesota Duluth, Lake Superior College (Duluth), and Luther
College. Her work has been included in several individual, juried, and group exhibitions. Honors include both a Career Development
Grant and a Fellowship from the McKnight Foundation. She has completed a number of artist residencies in several locations, including
the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont, and the Stonehouse Residency for Contemporary Arts in Miramonte, California.
Most recently she worked at the Jentel Artist Residency in Banner, Wyoming (May – June 2007). Several of the works in the current
exhibit were created at that time. Elizabeth lives in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
